 Lamrim day course Saturday 29 August, 10 am - 4 pm
Lamrim (or stages of the path) is the essence of all Buddha's teachings presented in a practical way we can easily understand and put into practice in our daily life. This day course will review teachings given by Venerable Geshe Kelsang at our mother centre, Manjushri Kadampa Meditation Centre, this past summer. register now... more info... Dharma for Kids Sundays, 10:00 – 11:15am (Starting Sept 13) All parents wish for their children to be happy. In an uncertain and busy world, children and parents need a place to go together to learn how to develop harmony, confidence and methods to help calm our minds and strengthen our families. The children’s class includes a short talk, gentle meditation and arts and crafts activities related to the thought for the week. The class will be taught at the same time as Prayers For World Peace, so parents are welcome to stay with their children or enjoy Prayers for World Peace being offered in the adjacent meditation room. Lay and ordained residents live together as a harmonious community in the spacious, two-story home above the ground floor Dharma Centre. It has the capacity for 8 full time residents.
