Supporting the centre
Both KMC Vancouver and the World Peace Cafe are run completely by the kindness of volunteers. Members of the community volunteer their time to provide all of the facilities the centre offers, including a full range of Buddhist study and meditation programs throughout the year. These range from short general program classes to week long meditation retreats and large national festivals. Everything within these courses, from the Teacher’s time to the baked goods and homemade soups, is pure volunteer work.
We always need help, both skilled and unskilled, to maintain and run the centre. If you have a couple of hours to spare we can always put you to good use! If you have any particular skills you can offer, please let us know. You can help by reading the opportunities to help below, and dedicating some time to volunteer in the daily running of KMC Vancouver.
- World Peace Cafe
- Publicity distribution (all over Vancouver or just in your area)
- Class assistant (for all general program classes)

By dedicating time performing virtuous activities for the community, and helping to make Dharma flourish, we are creating the causes to have a peaceful and happy life.
