How to Get There
If you wish to attend classes at Tilopa Buddhist Centre - here is how to find us.
We are located at 1829 Victoria DIVERSION - Victoria Drive turns into Victoria DIVERSION briefly between 20th and 18th Avenue just before it turns into Commercial Drive. We are located in the Trout Lake Community, just south of 18th Ave and Commercial Drive, and just south of the Croatian Cultural Centre. See map at bottom of page.
By Public Transport
From Broadway skytrain station, you can walk ~ 12 minutes or take a bus directly to the Tilopa Centre.
i) By foot: Walk south from Broadway station along Commercial Drive until E 18th ave (you will have just passed the Croatian Cultural Centre on your left). At this point, Commercial Drive turns into Victoria Diversion, but keep walking in the same direction along what is now called Victoria Diversion, for 1/2 a block, and you will see us on your left (the East side of Victoria Diversion).
ii) By bus: Catch the '20 Victoria' bus heading south on the South-West corner of Broadway and Commercial Drive. Get off at the stop 'Commercial Street' and you will see the Tilopa Centre directly accross the street. It is only a 3 - 5 minute bus ride.
Driving
Coming from the North: Drive south along Commercial Drive until you reach E 18th Ave. At this point, Commercial Drive turns into Victoria Diversion, but keep driving in the same direction along what is now called Victoria DIVERSION, for 1/2 a block, and you will see us on your left (on the East side).
Coming from the South: Head North on Victoria Drive towards 22nd Ave. Just north of 22nd Ave, Victoria Drive turns into Victoria DIVERSION. Continue driving North about 3 more blocks until you see the Tilopa Buddhist Centre on your right hand side (East Side), just before you reach E 18th ave.
There is street parking on Victoria Diversion (but not on certain sides between 7-9AM or 3-6PM).
