Lunchtime Meditation at UBC
Guided meditations to relax the mind
Fridays, Noon to 1pm
*Classes resume in September 2013*
The purpose of meditation is to make our mind calm and peaceful. When our mind is peaceful, we are free from worries and mental discomfort and experience true happiness and relaxation.
These classes provide an opportunity to learn how to meditate and how to use our experience of meditation to positively affect all aspects of our daily life.
With her gentle and loving manner, western Buddhist nun Kelsang Gyalchog presents the teachings with joy and clarity.
